What do you get when you combine a lot of milk jugs, countless glue sticks, and a few imaginative librarians? You end up with a very cool place to read!
With temperatures dropping, ditch your coats and boots and bring your young explorer to the library for a chance to explore our milk jug igloo. It’s the perfect place to cuddle up and enjoy a book with your little one on a frigid day. The igloo is sure to spark some conversations about the Arctic — the people, animals, and climate.
Can you guess how many milk containers were needed to make the igloo? Stop by the Youth Services Desk to see if you can guess the magic number.
We would like to extend a heartfelt thank you to all of the families that donated their milk containers to help us complete this fun project.
