The Algonquin Area Public Library is an official Girls Who Code Club affiliate starting in January 2020! Our first meeting will be on Tuesday, January 7 from 5-6pm and is for 3-5th graders. After that, we will be meeting every other Tuesday until May 2020.
The 3-5th grade clubs focus on the Girls Who Code book, Learn to Code and Change the World. Each club meeting will focus on a different chapter of the book. You can either pick up a physical copy of the book at the Youth Services Desk OR read the book digitally from the Girls Who Code Headquarters. Once you register for the library program, you will just need to register with the Girls Who Code website for access to the eBook and other resources.
