First Week 12/22 to 12/28
STEM Table: Quiver Vision Augmented Reality (AR) App & Coloring Pages – All day, everyday, all ages
QuiverVision is a cool app that allows kids to see their coloring pages come to life using Augmented Reality (AR) technology. Many people are familiar with AR technology from the Pokemon GO app. The library will provide iPads to use but QuiverVision may also be downloaded to any smart phone or mobile device for free. The only other catch is you must use their coloring packs in order for the AR to work correctly.
Stay-Cation Virtual Reality (VR) – Every week day from 2:00-2:30pm OR 4:00-4:30pm – All ages
Note: VR presentation will be the same at 2pm and 4pm. They are not different presentations, so no FOMO!

Movies – Each week day at 1:00pm – All ages
12/23 – Showing Elf, which is rated PG and is 97 minutes long
12/26 – Showing Disney’s A Christmas Carol, which is rated PG and is 96 minutes long
12/27 – Showing Aladdin, which is rated PG and is 2 hours and 9 minutes long
Family Bingo – Monday, 12/23 at 6:15pm – All ages
Families with children are invited to come and play a game of Bingo! Small prizes will be given out.
Lego Competition – AT EASTGATE on Friday 12/27 from 2:00-3:00pm – 4-8th graders
Compete against others in a variety of building challenges! Remember, this program will be at the Eastgate Library building, which is at 115 Eastgate Drive (NOT Harnish behind Target).
Second Week 12/29 to 1/4
STEM Table: Code & Go Mouse Robot – All day, everyday
Colby is our mouse robot. Create a step-by-step path for Colby using the 30 double-sided coding cards to provide the perfect introduction to coding concepts. Colby lights up, makes sounds, and features 2 speeds and colorful buttons to match coding cards for easy programming and sequencing. This robot is very similar to the Bee Bot.
Stay-Cation VR – Every week day from 2:00-2:30pm OR 4:00-4:30pm

Read & Play Cafe – Monday, 12/30 at 10am
Drop-in and enjoy a book, game, and snack at our Read & Play Cafe. For families with children of all ages.
Perler Beads – AT EASTGATE on Monday, 12/30 anytime between 12-6pm
Drop-in at any time to make your own creations out of Perler Beads. We will supply the beads and the pegboards. Remember, this program will be at the Eastgate Library building, which is at 115 Eastgate Drive (NOT Harnish behind Target).
No Sew Pillow Craft – Thursday, 1/2 anytime between 2-5pm – ages 7-13
Upcycle a t-shirt into your very own cozy pillow.
Smash Bros and Breakfast – Friday 1/3 at 10am for ages 8-13 – Register here
Are you a master at Super Smash Bros (WiiU edition)? Come compete on the library’s WiiU, First place gets a $10 gift card to Game Stop. Usually our tournaments are in the afternoon but due to the Frozen program [see below], this time it will be in the morning. Because of this, we will give our gamers breakfast.
Interactive Movie: Sing-a-Long Frozen – Friday, 1/3 at 1pm – Requires an Algonquin Card to Register
Dress up as your favorite Frozen character and join Elsa as she leads us in a sing-a-long viewing of the original film. A real life Elsa will be available for photos with the audience. This film is rated PG and is 102 minutes long. Please register all humans who will be attending this event – adults included. We need a final count of all humans, not just the children, for fire code purposes.
After Hours Family Fort Night– AT EASTGATE on Friday, 1/3 from 5:30-7pm for all ages – Register here
Build blanket forts in the library and spend quality time reading as a family. Bring your own blankets, stuffed animals, pillows, and flashlights. Pajamas welcome.
