Are you looking for a spring break adventure? You could spend the day climbing tanks and exploring American military history at Cantigny Park, or plan a morning at Brookfield Zoo observing your child's favorite animals. As an Algonquin Library cardholder, you can enjoy these wonderful experiences for free or at a reduced admission price by using our Museum Adventure Pass! The Museum Adventure Pass partners with 17 suburban Chicago area museums such as Naper Settlement, Lake County Discovery Museum, Illinois Railway Museum, Bronzeville Children's Museum and Legoland Discover Center.
How Does a Museum Adventure Pass Work?
- To sign up, simply bring your library card to the Adult Services or Youth Services Desk. Library staff can check out the pass to your library card. There are a limited number of passes for each location. Passes will be available on a first-come, first served basis.
- Families may check out one Museum Adventure Pass per loan period. The loan period is seven days. Only one pass may be checked out per family.
- Admission offers vary per museum. Some museums admit 2-4 people free per pass, while others offer buy one, get one free or ½ off admission. Check museumadventure.org for specific details.
