Registration for Summer Book Buddies began on Wednesday, May 1, 2019 and was originally supposed to go until Friday, May 31, 2019 BUT we have had a huge response and can no longer take more reader registrations as of Wednesday, May 22, 2019. Our Monday session has 57 readers while our Tuesday session has 41 readers. It’s great that we have so many kids and we wish that we could take more. It’s going to be one busy summer here at the library!
We WILL take more teenagers! If you know any 9-12th graders who need volunteer hours, we are in dire need of teens! Teen volunteers may contact Teen Librarian, Lindsey Tomsu, at teens@aapld.org or fill out a volunteer application on our teen website here.
